Uganda Papula Paper is a women-run Fair Trade organization located on the equator and employing single mothers, AIDS victims and the disabled. Products include jewelry, note cards, albums, stationary and picture frames—all made of recycled paper and/or plant materials. NCP is their principle international contact. Guatemala Indigenous women of Ixtahuacan, Guatemala make these colorful and functional shoulder bags. These hand-made bags come in two sizes and several designs. See more here. |

Education for a girl will mean fewer and healthier children, less chance of AIDS, more income for her family. Yet girls are often the last in line for an education. In Nepal , they even have a saying: "To be born a daughter is a lost life." We're working to change that! Help us give these girls a chance! |
