Project Nimule

Four NCP Solidarity Workers spent the summer of 2007 in Nimule, Sudan. After three months of hard work, tropical diseases, and enough experiences to write a novel, you might think they'd be ready to move on with life. Not so fast! Instead of moving on, they've challenged NCP to increase our commitment to this village and its people!

NCP is already supporting girls' education, women's development, and reforestation in Nimule, and our Learning Tours visit the community. Now we'll be kicking it up a gear to build on the work of the team and of our partners there.

In the coming year, we want to raise $12,000 in assistance, in addition to funds already sent since our January 2007 Learning Tour visit. See what these young adults have gotten us into? Can you help us out!?
