| We all know that a good 30 percent of a teenager's waking hours are spent in the shower (o.k., it just seems like that much to those of us waiting outside for our turn...). In a typical teen-occupied household, as much as 75 percent of the hot water is used for showers. By cutting your shower time in half, over a year's time you can keep 400 pounds of CO2 out of the atmosphere (it's a prime global warming gas). Click here to see how we did the math.
